Refund Policies
Kids Camp: We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to accommodate our camp families. However, due to the seasonal nature of our business and limited camp spots, we have the following refund policy in place:
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the start of camp are eligible for a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start of camp are not eligible for a refund. This includes last-minute scheduling conflicts, illness, or other personal circumstances.
Our top priority is the safety of all campers. In the event that ocean water quality does not meet safe swimming standards, we will still run a land-based beach camp with fun activities, games, and surf-related education. These alternative programming days are part of our camp experience and are not eligible for a refund.

Adult Surf Camps: Boston Surf Adventures will issue a full refund minus credit card fees if the refund is requested more than 3 weeks before the start date of a surf camp. If a refund is requested within 3 weeks of the surf camp, it is up to the client to find a replacement for their spot in the camp. If they can find a replacement, they will receive a full refund minus credit card fees, if they do not, the surf camp fee will be forfeit. Boston Surf Adventures is a very small company and we depend on each and every customer that we bring in. We hope that you understand the need for this policy.
If you would like to make a change to your surf camp date more than 3 weeks in advance, we allow clients to make one date change free of charge. After that, no more changes will be allowed.
International/Overseas Trips: A 2 week refundable deposit is required to secure a spot on an international trip. At the two week mark, the clients has two options:
They may request a refund minus credit card processing fees (if they paid by credit card)
They can pay the full balance due on the trip
We created this policy for international trips in order to balance 2 priorities. First, we want to give our clients enough time to determine if they can get time off work, find flights that fit in their budget, and take care of any other initial logistics surrounding an overseas surf trip. Second, we want to have enough time as a company to find replacement participants if a client should decide to not attend a trip. We feel 2 weeks creates a fair balance between these two competing demands. Enough time for a client to determine if they can make the trip, enough time for BSA to find a replacement if they can not. Once the full payment has been made for an international trip, the purchase is not refundable. If you are concerned about travel interruptions please consider travel insurance which will usually reimburse you for the entire cost of the trip in case of illness or emergency.
