Ericeira might just be the coolest surf town on Earth. A car free, walkable village with easy access to over 20 surf breaks, this place is a surfers paradise. Cliffs fall dramatically into the sea allowing for breathtaking scenery around every corner, and surf breaks as far as the eye can see. The town has everything you’d expect from a fun European Surf town: great food, amazing bars, an incredible social scene and clubs that will have you dancing til dawn. Only 40 minutes away from Lisbon, you also have easy access to one of the best cities in the world.

Within 5 miles of Ericeira there are over 20 world class surf breaks suitable for every level of surfer. Erieira has everything from forgiving beach breaks to gnarly slab waves that only psycho pros will attempt. We will rely on our incredible local surf coaches to take us to the best beaches every day for the best conditions. Portugal will push you to become a stronger, more confident surfer in some of the best breaks in the world.

We have the best coaching program in the world. Our in water, local coaches grew up in Ericeira and have been surfing and coaching for over 40 combined years (even though they’re 20 something year old identical twins) They will give you in water feedback to drastically improve your surfing. In addition, each morning you will be filmed for 2 hours. We film every single wave caught in the morning session. This is used in our highly acclaimed video analysis sessions where you are given feedback in between our morning and afternoon sessions. This video analysis session is run by our founder, Grant Gary, who has taught thousands of people how to surf. A former school teacher, he knows exactly what feedback to give to take your surfing to the next level.

Our 8 bedroom house is located right in the heart of the village of Ericeria. There’s no need for a car, simply stroll out the front door and you are right in the middle of all the action. Turn left and you’re at the beach in 5 minutes, turn right and you have access to cool cafes, bars, restaurants, and every type of food you can dream of. Please note there are 4 bathrooms in the house and they are all shared.

The food in Portugal is incredible! Breakfast and lunch is included in the price of the trip. Our lunches are prepared by a local private chef who will cook delicious, nutritious meals to keep you surfing all day! At night the town is yours, you can select from a multitude of cuisines served in buzzy restaurants all over town.

Ericeira is only 90 minutes from Nazare, the most famous big wave spot in the world. If the forecast calls for 40 foot (or bigger), clean waves at Nazare, we will head there in the early morning to witness the greatest surf arena on Earth. If there is no group Nazare day you can easily visit on your day off
