There is no other surf program like this in the world. We’ve taught thousands of lessons over tens of thousands of hours over the past decade. Our founder, Grant was a school teacher for 11 years. He is always looking for ways to teach things faster and easier. This is the result of over a decade of surfing, teaching, testing and iterating.

We want to ensure the absolute highest quality experience in the world. Thus we are only opening up the amount of spots we can confidently deliver in September and October 2025.
-
We find these sessions work best when you continue to work with the same coach through all of your sessions. All of our coaches for Progression Sessions are very high level surfers with very high level surf coach training. This is one of the reasons we are limiting the number of spots.

You will receive a code with your purchase that will allow you to book on our Progression Sessions Calendar.

In order to truly make progress in your surfing one session isn’t really enough. In order to make lasting progress we really need to make sure you’re committed to that progress. Purchasing multiple sessions at a time will commit you to that process. We recommend at least 4 sessions if you want to see dramatic changes in your surfing.
-
No. If you don’t have your own gear, there’s a good chance your a level 1 surfer. Progression sessions will be massively helpful to you at this stage. We have boards we can provide you for the session. We do recommend buying your own board pretty early in the learning process. The correct board will actually help you learn faster. We cover this in our gear guide, but your coach can also help you find the right board.
-
If you’ve never surfed before we recommend you sign up for our weekend long surf camp for adults so you can learn the foundations of surfing before moving on to progression sessions. We recommend you’ve surfed at least 10-20 times before signing up for a progression session.

These Packages are only good for Sept and Oct 2025. The reason is, we can’t guarantee progress unless you surf at least twice a month over the next two months. Any less than that and your surfing will start moving backwards.
-
Small Waves are the best conditions for uncovering weaknesses in your surfing. Bigger waves allow you to go faster and get away with sloppy technique. Small Waves will reveal any issues you may have with your technique.
-
We generally want progression sessions to take place in waves 4 foot and under. That being said, if the waves are big on the day of your lesson we will paddle out with you if we feel you are ready.
